Ok so this has got to be the most innovative thing I have ever used.  I received a Nest Thermostat from BestBuy and using it I was a bit confused but now I really like it.  First of all it learns my habits.  I love that it gives me the temperature outside based on my zip code as well.  I can take a glance at it and it will give me the daily update on the thermostat itself. I also no longer need to worry about batteries dying in it because this one does not require them.  Another really awesome thing is when I change the air temperature to a lower setting it tells me what time it will return it to the normal preference for the home.  It is so simple to use and because it learns, it prevents my children from  messing the temperature up and I come home to it running non stop, or being too cold, or being too hot. Also, it will tell you how long it has ran that day as well.  I am excited to see that because it means that instead of it running on autopilot like the others I have had in the past, it will run based on need and so far is only running half of the time that my old one did.  We have noticed it doesn't need to kick on nearly as much and the home is still at a very comfortable temperature.  So what is this thing? Allow me to show you!

This is how it looks when it is being used.  When no one is near it, the Nest goes dark. It senses someone near it and it will turn on and light up so you can see the temperature. When you see the leaf it means it is at a energy saving temperature.

Away mode as you can see will allow Nest to go into a temperature saving mode until you turn it back onto Home mode.  This device is going to pay for itself in the savings. The great thing about this device is you can control it from your cell phone using the Nest App.  You can learn more about it using the Fact Sheet.

Also during this time, Best buy wanted to make sure we have the best internet possible and set me up with a really awesome Netgear router!  This has actually made my home more connected by alleiviating dead spots.  I had issues with my old modem/router combination. I could not stream my tv station from the Roku, or the PS3 without a lot of stopping and buffering.  I love how the new router has a dead zone terminator. I plugged it into my bedroom and since then the internet has been amazing! No more worries and all of our connected devices work wonderfully.

This router is LARGE and in charge!  It definately takes up more space then my old one but it is totally worth it because the benefits are amazing.  You can learn more about the Netgear router on the fact sheet.

There are several options to expand your home into the Nest family.  How would you like to be able to monitor your home security?  What about the ability to see what lights are on? Slimquick Pure Drink Mix Review

Hi ladies!
We all want to lose more weight right? I mean if we have weight to lose that is. But has it ever been as easy as just taking a drink of water? Well with this SlimQuick Pure mix, it really is that easy.  During my testing period I lost a total of 18 lbs. This was over 4 weeks. Bear in mind I am diabetic, I have lupus, and celiac disease that affects my metabolism and body from being able to lose weight. It has taken me 2 years to be able to go back to work and I worked hard to find natural products that worked to get me started on this path. This is one of them that I like very much!

I tried this on and off for multiple weeks to see if I could tell the difference when I was drinking this and when I was not and let me tell you I really could.  First of all this product does very well on appetite suppression. It also gave me a lot of energy. I work 12 hours shifts and when I am doing that, I get tired after about half the shift. When I am drinking Slimquick, I do not feel that tiredness nearly as much. I have to be careful when I drink it because it you are drinking it about 5 hours before you plan on going to bed it can help you stay awake vs allowing you to sleep.  In my case that is easy to go over if I am not careful as I work from 6am-6:30pm. I usually go to bed at about 9pm.

Basically this is a drink mix. I drink lots of water and so this was great for me. It tastes like real strawberries and not the artificial kind like you taste in candy but really like infused water fresh berry flavor. You can taste a little of the vitamins in it but it is really not unpleasant at all!  You are to drink one packet in water the first day and then 2 packets the second day. I adjusted as I needed to. On days that I did not use this product I was more hungry. (12 hours of non stop moving is a good way to work an appetite up) and was eating frequently but, I also eat healthy. When I work I tend to eat light foods like hummus or chicken salad with a mix of veggies to dip into it and some fruit. But I also avoid gluten. I have been eating this way for several years so that is not the reason for my weight loss. This product made a huge difference in the amount of weight I lost in a small amount of time. I generally can lose up to 5-7 Lbs a month without this product. I do between 6-8 miles of walking during work and generally 1-3 daily.  This is accumulated over the course of the day and is the only real exercise I get as I am on the go. I wanted to be sure that this was out there because I do not sit around and even then I try to get up and do activity for several hours a day.  Everyone is different. I have been focusing on gaining more muscle to help boost my metabolism.

Superfood Bundle! 3-Pack of Spirulina, Acerola & Nutritional Yeast Review

This superfood bundle I recieved was an intersting mix from Sari Foods.  The acerola was great in smoothies and you barely noticed any change in flavor. How to review items with or without a Blog!

So people have been wanting to know how I get such awesome products to review. I can share some of that here.

 First of all, do not be greedy!

 These product sites that offer the great items at a free or discounted cost are smaller companies trying to get their name out there. My favorite and most trusted site is  AmzReviewTrader this site is amazing and has everything you can imagine to check out and review. What they ask is that you review your items within 10 days of receiving them.  Another thing to point out is that Amazon Prime is worth the $99 a year because if you are going to be ordering lots of products to review...shipping can be costly. Just bear in mind the normal cost of shipping on smaller items is about $3-5.99 each.  Think about that over the cost of a year.  20 products would easily cost more then your Prime membership.  I have done several hundred over the last 6 months. Believe me. The price is worth it. You also get several perks to being a prime member as well. Books, movies and more. Check into it if you are serious about reviewing this is what you want to budget into your yearly expenses.

Another very HUGE statement. When you review an item you MUST include a disclosure. It is the law.  "I received this item in exchange for my honest review for free or discounted price."  Pretty straight forward and must be done.

Also, YOU CAN NOT EVER sell an item you get for review on amazon or anywhere else.  It is perfectly OK to get a review item and then gift it to family and friends. But you can not sell them. It hurts you and the seller.  Remember, even if it is FREE to you, it's not to the seller and you are being compensated for reviewing the item by being allowed to keep it. Think of it this way. If the item you are reviewing is worth $50 dollars and you paid nothing... But you write a review of 4-6 sentences about what you think about it, or even longer...It might only take a few moments of your time, but that feedback is golden to the seller. So please do not be skimpy and not be honest. Make sure you use the product and actually tell about it. Does it smell nice, is it the same as what you see in the image? Does it fit right? Did you break out from it? Lots of things to keep in mind. Pictures and video reviews mean the world to sellers and will help you to gain new products.

The more you review items the lower your Amazon rating goes. THIS IS GOOD! It means they value your views and you are helping others to purchase items. Sellers can see the reviews and any pics/vids added via Amazon Tracker.  So, be good to your sellers and they will be very good to you.

If you have a blog, then use it as well. more traffic for them means more opportunities for you!

Social media is amazing and since most of us have smartphones now, the opportunities are endless.

So if you are ready to begin..... check the links above and remember these cardinal rules....

RULES TO REVIEWING!

1. Never share a promo code EVER!
2. Contact the seller if you ever have a problem with a code unless otherwise instructed. (For instance in a review group where the admins handle codes and go between with sellers and reviewers)
3. Review the item in a timely manner (10 days is the average)
4. If you cannot give a 4-5 star review contact the seller or admin (if in a group) to let them know why this is so they can improve on it. Most sellers want that feedback to make better products. They cannot fix it if you do not tell them. Many will replace the item if its a product issue or change and then offer the new product once its changed to you to do a different review on and see what you think about it.
5. Be honest. If you feel that the item was shoddy or not a good item give real detailed reasons why this is. Be fair in the review and be sure to look at the item description because oftentimes low reviews happen because a reviewer expects more from an item then what is actually promised.  If it is an inexpensive item normally do not expect it to be the same standard as the $200 alternative.
6. Try to put at least one photo on the item if its applicable. (do the text review first let it give you a permalink before you add pics. Sometimes Amazon boots the review for adding pics at the same time.)
7. Video reviews are great but keep them short and make sure you add a small text review as well.
8. NEVER forget disclosures. Amazon will remove them and then you cannot fix the review.
9. If you really love the product SHARE IT! pin it, tweet it, instagram it, and facebook it.
10. Enjoy your products and plan for gifting, Christmas, Birthdays, Holidays and more!

The Joly Life back up and at em!

I wanted to apologise as to not having as much content going as normal. I recently started a new job and work 12 hour shifts and come home really hurting and tired because as most of you know, I have lupus and diabetes as well as a number of other health related issues. This was a new thing for me after working for 2 years to drop weight and get my health in better control to allow the mobility to go back to work. I still have a long way to go however, but i have been able to go back to work and that was a huge accomplishment. Do I hurt? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. So let me tell you why I can say this. I took a job working for the Macys Distribution Center. We are a direct to customer based warehouse. I work in Packing, which means if you order it, I and others will be safely packing it to head to your doorstep. However, I also work in other departments as well like Prep. In this area I am taking a vendor box like for instance Ralph Lauren, or Micheal Kors and sorting the items in the box out into separate boxes based on size, color, and things of that nature. One box at times can be split into over 140 boxes. So is it tedius...? Yep. But, I get to stay busy for 12 hours and if you know me and follow me, you know I do not sit idle for long. The one thing that makes this job totally worth it is the people we work with. The managers and co workers are amazing. We get thanked for working. Things we do are noticed and we get proper breaks. If we have health issues and have a problem, it is not brushed under the rug. For instance, my blood sugar dropped on me at work because my body wasnt used to the 12 hour shifts. I did something about it but was still feeling horrible and shaky. My manager could have been get back to your area and ignored me. ( I have had this happen before in other jobs) but instead, he said I will be back to check on you if you aren't back to me in 10 mins. He ended up with us sitting in his office talking while my body got more stable. That meant the world to me to know that he values me as a worker and respects that I have health problems and at that time I needed to get it better so I was not a risk to myself, others or in danger of conveyers. A lot of jobs wouldn't care. I can not say that for other places I have worked. When I go in I am ready to work, ready to bust my rear, and the reason is I see my managers working too. They answer questions and want to make everyone the best they can be and keep it peaceful and a great place to work. When we have a problem it is dealt with immediately and not left on the back burner. So anyhow, I am working weekends and Monday and Tuesday I usually am still pretty sore and swollen. Lupus hates this kind of work and my joints ache, but, I do it every weekend and its getting easier. I have been focusing more on Amazon reviews lately to get my numbers looking better and have more items to review and see what else I can show you that has worked for me. On a brighter note! I went to the Dr and a lot of the issues with my bloodwork last year have went to normal levels since I started doing the natural products and essential oils. I am still working on my diabetes but so far the other bad items have calmed down. I am still working hard. I would love it if you would share some posts that have been especially helpful to you over the last few years and bring new readers in because I have a slew of products to talk about and will be making more posts Mon-Thurs now that I am not completely worn out after my weekend work. I got to experience this awesome TV at my local Best Buy this weekend and let me tell you it is quite impressive!

I checked out what was going on in-store. My store did not have the new Jurassic World demo yet but still I got some amazing pictures. The quality is unbelievable. Check this out!

The one thing that really amazed me is that you can view this TV from any angle as you can see and the color is not distorted. I have seen in other large screen TV's that they tend to pale as you move to one side or the other. InstaNatural Essential Oils Review (Peppermint and Lemon)

I am a huge fan of Essential Oils. I was very excited to get a chance to try InstaNatural Essential oils as I love this brand and stand by it as a wonderful brand that is true to its customers and really knows what quality is about.  When I had a chance to review, I could not wait to try these great oils.

First of all, They are potent! When the box arrived I knew immediately what was in it even though those bottles were sealed nice and tight. You could smell the lemon and the peppermint right thru the packaging. I was a little worried initially that they had spilled. But it was just THAT strong.

These oils I have used to help with headaches by rubbing some peppermint around the temples and forehead, I have used them in my wax burners to let them go thru a room and help with sinus congestion. The lemon I have used with vinegar mix to help clean things in my home and freshen linens and curtains. There are so many uses for essential oils I could not possibly list them all however, if you do a fast google search you can find a number of great uses for them from cleaning, healing and more to pest control and repellants.  The best part of all is they are 100% Natural!

Can't get much better then that!  Essential oils are also great for aromatherapy and more!

Pura d'or Hair & Body Care Review

Hi everyone.  I had an opportunity to review Pura d'or hair care products.  This particular set was to help with hair loss and to help increase hair strength.  With argon oil this great product worked wonders for me.  I have thyroid conditions that has caused my hair to be almost impossible to grow and it has been super thin as well. Now after using this product for several months I can see considerable changes in my hair and I will show you the images below.  These products are free of parabens, gluten and SLS and are all natural as well. What can beat that? How about REAL RESULTS!!!!  That is exactly what I got. Since using these hair care products I can say I am much happier now that I am not always cleaning hairballs out of my shower drain.  My hair feels a lot more healthy also as its not feeling dry and brittle anymore either.

Bait and switch on EBAY!!! BUYERS BEWARE!

Hello everyone. I just had an experience on Ebay that I would not want anyone to ever have to go thru like I just did.  I purchased 2 items. I will be posting the pics to show you that I paid for them and had a expected shipping date as well...

The seller refunded me and then sent me a message stating they had already done so as you can read in the above picture. Below is the refunds.

After the refunds were made, the notification i got from Ebay showed I needed to PAY for my items as you can see above.  So that made me check Paypal to make sure that my payments went thru. And that is how I discovered the refunds.

 The sellers store no longer shows the same listings I purchased. They removed them and reset them. Ebay was not able to find them to fix this because of the Bait and Switch.

As you can see in the first image and in this one, I was given a rushed apology after they already screwed me and knew it was done. I am beyond livid that this is allowed. As a jewelry designer, if I ever had a mistakely priced something I would still honor what was listed because that is my fault as a seller and I should have to take ownership for that problem. Not be like well lets cancel this order and you just dont get an item. Very bad business.

Here you can see others have had the same problem with this seller and they came back stating they were getting blackmailed.  Seems like alot of bait and switch going on and not wanting to honor thier prices.

My reply to them based on this ordeal... Just so that there is nothing to be misread here...

Then the seller decided to go into PAYPAL and refund my transaction that over rides the EBAY system and cancelled my orders without any disputes.  I just went thru 3 tiers of Ebay escalations about this and apparently if you are a seller and have done the agreement of seller protocal they are supposed to contact the buyer to ask if it can be cancelled but if they go direct to paypal and refund it they can BYPASS this system and I am not the only one they have done this to.

Now mind you I get that people make mistakes. I also get the items are worth more, However when I have purchased items on Ebay before at a deep discount I expect things that are either irregular or maybe missing parts and for the price I was willing to deal with that.  But to have my orders cancelled and NO contact and then a lame excuse AFTER they bypassed Ebay protocal just upsets me to no end. I feel like I was played. Bait and switch. Lure your customers in with 8 items at $3 and then cancel those orders to jack the prices up. Bad bad business and BTW Ebay wont help you.  I went thru 3 kinds of escalations. And all told me that the seller went against Ebay regulations and would be shown in seller feedback for it. But I cannot even get to make feedback so, I am sharing with all of you so YOU also dont get duped by this seller.

The seller name is Bargainsopping.  And No I did not misspell that either. I should have known better when I read the name and it was plainly mispelled. But the pictures show it all and there they come.

Sorry to let you all know but Ebay apparently has let Sellers exploite the system now.

I know I been MIA but I have been pretty sick for a few months and so blogging was really hard for me to do with as many siezures as I have had.  I am currently fighting a staph/mrsa infection in my leg after i had a reaction to neosporin.  So yet another thing I have be found to be allergic to. However, I have been keeping up with smaller reviews on Amazon. I will be moving some of them to the blog shortly as I have been really busy with the shorter reviews for amazon but havent had time to take pics and links and whatnot to make ful blog posts BUT I have lots of exciting items for you all to see.  Check my Amazon Profile to see what I have been up to.

There has been a trip to Massachusettes, and then back home, got Gena here and that was a really long drive especially with lupus as my hip decided to fall out of place during the drive.  And now kids are out of school for the summer.  So things are even more busy here.  But anyhow I wanted to share what has been going on and also give you a heads up, I will be writing a great post for @bestbuy and you have got to be ready to check this.

Instanatural is a brand I just can not get enough of. Every product I have tried from them has become a person favorite and I love to spread the word.  The mud mask is really nice. it goes on smooth, It dries pretty quick and you can feel it tightening as it dries.
