Having a newborn isn't always what people picture. I've heard friends talking about, 'Well when I have a kid...' and they think their child will sleep through the night, etc. They get home and realize their whole world is turned upside down. Newborns often sleep in the day and are up at night. They need to eat. A lot. Often. With that there are concerns. Are they eating enough? Too much? It isn't always easy to tell. I breastfeed both of my children so knowing the their 'intake' isn't measurable. I learned from others to tell by the 'output.' Meaning if they are getting enough they will have plenty of wet and poopy diapers. In those questions is also the concern if they are getting enough hindmilk and foremilk. Having other moms around that have been there is terrific. I'm glad for my friends and family. Another great acesset is the new Pampers Stool Color Cards and Diaper Rash Infographic. Moms can look at this to check Bowel Movement (BM) colors to make sure their newborn is doing okay. I love that moms can get it in hospitals and it is available in English and Spanish.

Lola Granola Review and Giveaway

Hello Readers I have a treat for you today. I got a chance to review a type of granola bar called Lola Granola. I wasn't sure what to expect until they arrived. First of all they are not HARD. They are nice and soft and chewy. They come in a variety of flavors and I love them all.  As I have to eat gluten free bars like this become a good source of nutrician when I cannot eat things that the rest of my family can.  The Lola Granola bars are made to be gluten free, and also non GMO. So friends this is the way to go and a revolution in granola bars.

The story behind these bars is the owners of the company hit hard times and was looking for a way to feed themselves and their 4 children.  Each child had specific needs and so they had to be gluten and soy free.  They named the bars for each of thier children and thier nephew.  Each bar has that persons favorite add ins to them.  They made so many and people wanted to buy them and Lola Granola Bars was started.  They strive to feed the hungry and the company shares these bars with the nations children's back pack food programs. So great company and working for a great cause. What is not to like?

Secrets to a Pain Free Life Book Review

The book "Secrets to a Pain Free Life"  by Dr Ghorbani was helpful and interesting for those that want to learn about natural pain relief and other homeopathic ways of relieving stress and pain. It was a slow read as there is lots of really good information inside it.  I kept reading it even though some parts of it can be kind of long winded and it reads more like a documentary then a story book so some may not have the patience to read thru it. However, if you are like me with medical issues and want to learn this is the book for you!

 Did you know that changing the way you eat can directly effect your pain levels? Some foods can be real bad for arthritis and lupus and other inflammatory diseases.  It speaks of how certain foods can help with lowering inflammation in the joints. Or how gluten can cause intestinal swelling.  About half of this book includes herbs and recipies to help with naturally reducing pain and he explains ways to manage it that most people would not even think of as treatments.

"Secrets to a Pain Free Life",  is definatly worth the read and I think it would come in handy for those of us with issues.  This will give you ideas for treatment on the natural spectrum to help with pain vs grabbing a bottle of pain relievers.

I rate it 5/5 and it will be a great resource to any bookshelf!

True Sol Colon Cleanse Review

Have you ever heard of having a #coloncleanse?  Well many people look at this as several ways of cleansing the body of built up toxins and other things that the body has issues removing on its own.  Some people would have used enemas for such a things but that is long in the past now.  There are many products available on the market that cleanse the colon such as laxatives but what no one tells you is that those products are painful. Laxatives can make you live on the toilet for hours and well an enema is not much different and a whole other demon in itself.  So what can you do if you want to clean out your colon and not be bathroom bound and in pain?  Try a colon cleanse from True Sol.

I recently had the chance to review this item and can attest it does work very well. I didn't have cramping and it was very easy to use as it is a pill and you don't have to worry about rushing to the bathroom. Basically using this product as directed you will become more regular and maybe have a change in the amount of waste you produce as the product clears you out, but you are not in pain and not being tied to your bathroom.  Which for me being a mom of 3 is no easy feat.  My kids follow me everwhere.

As this product does clear you out and is very effective it is best NOT to use it for more then a week at a time. You can also see pretty immediate weight loss as it removed the built up crud from several months to several years from inside the colon. This factor also means if you are cleaning out that you can lose inches in your waist also from the intestines being cleaned as well.  Also a bonus!

So if you want to start feeling less bloated and better in your belly. This is a great way to kick off a cleanse or even a new weightloss routine by helping prepare your body for some serious shredding of weight and toxins.

I highly recommend this product and think you should check them out.  I rate them 5/5.
