Recent Repairs

So I have had several computers to work on.

All Win 11 Devices.  2 of them were hacked. I had to go in and close all the connections. I went in and cleared all the problems off of them, upped the security. I went in updated everything. I ran all the scans and removed the remote desktop option that was installed that gave them access. We attempted to kick the hackers out of thier Microsoft 365 and so had to put in a ticket direct to Microsoft. I advised to call in direct and verify the personal info to prove ownership of the account.  But they are secure now. Just waiting on Microsoft to finish the verification.

So to others in this situation, Always change your password frequently. Always verify you have a legit person working on your computer and not some scammer that just wants access to your private info. Always do your computer operating system updates. Do not fall behind! It is so important for your computer to keep the computers up to date and gain all your security updates.  Always use a good antivirus software. If you have questions please message me or comment below.

One computer I did this week had connectivity issue. We did troubleshooting and it is a 2 part issue. We updated the computer and net framework. We checked and updated WIFI drivers. Then the signal issue continued. Even when directly plugged in. They are changing ISP. What they were getting for their price was not right. Also they have 22 devices connected to a 50mbps connection and it wasnt fully stable all the time anyhow. So, they are upgrading and we will retest stability. If all is good, then good deal. If not I will be changing out her WIFI card in person as shes a local to my area.

2 Computers in the last week just needed basic updates, antivirus, and firewall updates. They just has extra BS on them that was more crap vs a virus. Pretty easy. They are happy.

The last one, had several problems. It took me about 6 hours to fix. It was crashing, it was outdated, it had spam software and was just in pretty rough shape. I went in the back end and cleaned it up. I reset the IP address settings and did some other repairs in DOS.

This is my life, this is one week of helping others. If you need help message me here or you can email me as well.
