This movie is about an girl that does a show. Her name is Hazel. She is severely agoraphobic. She works from home and studies true crime stories. Because of her a girl was saved. Throughout this movie she faces a lot of fears and memories and it can be quite intense.
She is drinking a lot. She has a therapist she talks to. She has a sister and is missing her boyfriend. Without giving too much away, you can see through the eyes of Hazel that she struggles with her past, she struggles with living. She has been through intense trauma.
A friend of hers gives her some magic mushrooms to go out and try to get an out of body experience and maybe get through some of her insecurities.
She decided to take everything and goes on a lifechanging trip.
Anyhow, this movie was very good. It keeps you on your toes and has a great ending that kinda ties it all together and makes total sense.
A bit horror, a bit psychological and very intense.
A must see!
